Dear Felicia February 2010

Dear Felicia,
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I again find myself single and it's starting to make me feel depressed. I'm not a co-dependant person, but it's been a few years since my last long-term relationship and the random hook up thing has grown boring. I guess I am trying to figure out ways to meet new guys and actually form a solid relationship. I can tend to be shy and quiet around new people. So where do I go, what do I do and how can I land a new guy?
Seriously Single
Dear Seriously Single,
I think the first thing you need to do is identify what type of relationship you're looking for. ?I know it can be frustrating trying to meet people, but if the same old bars aren't working for you, try something new.
There are plenty of dating sites out there, like OKCupid. ? Here's a great idea – come to the Mint Male/OKCupid Singles Mixer February 15th from 7pm to 10pm at Mini Bar and try to meet your dream man!
Upon meeting your dream man, it's important to feel comfortable in your skin. ?If you're shy or get nervous around new people, have 10 questions prepared in your head that you could easily ask or answer. ?Just be yourself. ?And depending on what type of relationship you are looking for, don't forget to bring a condom.
Best of Luck in Life and Love,
Felicia
